Green the Streets’ Vergefest inspired me and my neighbours to promote local food growing in Coopers Plains. Lui Varney’s Pelican Patch, Lillian Geddes’ Mutualism Queensland and FoodConnect have joined forces for this event, which is centred around an urban walk stopping first at Cornerstone Living’s Community Garden for a talk with Beryl Roberts creator of that garden and local community notable.
