Lewis Hill Neighbours near QEII Hospital expansion project have seen their streets become clogged with parked cars.

Residents are unanimous that this is inadequate and some suggestions that have been floated for the western half of Lewis Hill are: Yellow lines either side of driveways on request and assessed on a case-by-case basis (every driveway is different); Yellow lines on all driveways; Yellow lines strategically placed to allow passing; Marked parking bays between some driveways to optimize pakring; Yellow line all the way down one side of each street; Local Traffic Only signs along Troughton Road to prevent short-cutting traffic avoiding the signalized intersection with Musgrave Road; 40 k/h speed limit; Moratorium on subdivisions; Residents’ only parking down one side of the streets.
